City Club was established in 1984 by a Founding Board of Governors comprised of some of Fort Worth’s most influential citizens. This Founding Board set the tone and provided the leadership for an active, astute and involved membership. The Club is located in City Center’s Bank of America Tower and provides an exceptional Club experience for dining, fitness, networking and meeting and event space. All Amenities Offered to City Club Members
Working in the City Center Towers has never been sweeter. We are home to two bee-utiful beehives ruled by our honeybee Queens, Beeatrix and Beelizabeth! We’re proud to take part in the movement for a more eco-conscious city by installing two beehives on The Grill’s patio in City Club. Here, our hives are home to thousands of bees who you can watch while eating lunch at The Grill. They are working hard preparing delicious honey that City Center tenants will have a chance to enjoy once it’s harvested. You can’t get more local honey than that!
This project is in collaboration with Oak Cliff Bee Company; a community-focused, Texas beekeeping company whose mission is to raise public awareness about bees’ vital role in our local ecosystem. In addition to tending to urban hives in the corporate environment, they actively support local schools, veterans, and first responders by sharing their beekeeping knowledge and practices to help inspire new bee enthusiasts.
At City Center, we are excited about the opportunity to learn more about beekeeping with sustainable practices, conservation, and education all while supporting the environment…and of course the sweet honey that everyone keeps buzzing about!
